Now this is a fun one! In fact, this film very nearly made it into my top 10 list for 2021, but 2021 was a great year for movies so I just didn't have room (I mean, people MULTIPLE MAGNIFICENT MOVIE MUSICALS IN ONE YEAR...), but thankfully, my cohost on 2 Movie Jews did put this film into his top 10, so it got properly amplified.
Anyway, as the title implies, the robots - all the robots - anything with tech (phone, roombas, digital fridges, furbys, computers) have banded together to attack the humans while the Mitchell family is on a car trip taking their oldest, Katie, to college. This fun and quirky family must figure out how to contain the machines, stay safe, and no big deal.... save humanity.
